Hellfire Theme FOLDER

While this theme will work in the C:\Program Files\Plus!\Themes folder, you won't be able to "preview" the various parts of it.

Consider creating a folder called "Hellfire" -- as in:
C:\Program Files\Plus!\Themes\Hellfire
and putting all the parts of the Diablo/Hellfire theme in it. It allows the preview, and makes the theme easier to delete.

For convenience, you might want copies of the files that end in ".THEME" kept in the normal C:\Program Files\Plus!\Themes folder. (So you don't have to choose "Other" and then browse, to find the Hellfire Theme on the selection list.)

NEW FONT

Included in this Theme ("Hellfire") is the "EXOCET" Font. It has the same letter style as seen in the games Diablo and Hellfire. (I got it from Desslock, at Gamespot)

Simply move both files "Exh_.ttf" and "Exl_.ttf" to your "WINDOWS\FONTS" Folder.

If you've already loaded the Hellfire Theme without those files in the FONTS folder, move them now, then just choose "Hellfire" as your Desktop Theme again.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION ABOUT FONTS...

Restoring your Font (Lettering)

Some themes alter the Size and or Letter Styling of the windows displays. This is an altered "Font". Some people dislike the size, style or coloring of a Theme's chosen Font. Here's a brief idea of how to change it.

Go to the "Control Panel" (from the START button's "Settings" menu.)
Double-click "Display" from the list.
Pick the "Appearance" tab.
Along-side the "Scheme" name selector is a 'drop-down-menu' button.
Click on it and scroll down. You may want "Windows Standard". That's the generic one that Windows 95 comes with.
When you find it, (or another one you like), Click the "Apply" button.

To change Lettering, use the dropdown menu at the bottom (under the word "Font")
(Click on the words "MESSAGE BOX", to enable the Font Dropdown Menu.)
Pick one you like and hit "Apply".

To keep the Theme the way you've now put it, you should also do this...
Go to the "Control Panel" again.
Pick "Desktop Themes".
Click on "Save As".
Select the "Hellfire(*whatever-size*).Theme" file. (Or create an alternate name.)
Agree to overwrite the file, if necessary.
This way it the Theme will always have the font that you wanted, when it loads.
